The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards announced the winners, honoring the best music videos from the previous year. The show was broadcasted live from the Staples Center arena in Los Angeles, California.
After the announcement of nominees last July 31, 2012, finally the list of winners were revealed to the viewing public with Rihanna, Chris Brown and One Direction dominated the show.
The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards was hosted by Kevin Hart.
