Year’s worth of groceries, or a check for $8,000.00, could be yours by the beginning of the next year. All you need to do, is take part of the Hungry Jack Use Up the Box recipe contest.
Original recipe submissions are accepted at www.useupthebox.com between August 14 and October 23, 2012. Your goal – to come up with an original recipe that uses Hungry Jack products.

Over the years they have received thousands of interesting and tasty recipes to break the monotony of your meal times. And this year, for the fourth time, they are doing it again.
Amateur home cooks from around the United States are invited to take part of the Hungry Jack recipe contest. Main requirements is the usage of one of the following Hungry Jack products: Pancake and Waffle Mix, Microwaveable Syrup, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Hashbrown Potatoes, C(–foul word(s) removed–)erole Potatoes. The minimum amounts of them you need to use for the recipe as well as any other requirements are available at www.useupthebox.com.
But in order to win, you need to be creative, p(–foul word(s) removed–) the initial judging phase with your recipe-on-paper only where ease of preparation, visual appeal, likely taste and creativity are judged. And past that, cross your fingers that the national online vote in January 2013 will go your way.
Recipes are accepted in three categories: Breakfast for Dinner, Appetizers, and Sweet Treats.
The main prize for each category is a check for $1,000.00. The recipe that shines the brightest across all categories will win the grand prize $8,000.00.
