Azkals vs. Cambodia Live Coverage on Studio 23, Play by Play Updates

The Philippine Azkals is now ready to face the Cambodian National Football Squad dubbed as The Royal Khmers or Angkor Warriors for the FIFA-sanctioned International Friendly as one of the preparations for the Philippine Team before embarking on a journey for another semi-final slot in the upcoming 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup.

The Philippine team welcomed back the service of some Filipino-European based players such as Neil Etheridge, Jerry Lucena and Paul Mulders together with the current US-based Azkals co-skipper Chieffy Caligdong.

The game will be shown live through the facilities of the ABS-CBN Sports and will be shown live on Studio 23. The coverage will start at 6:30 PM while the kick-off will commenced at 7 PM (PST).

Marwin Angeles taken out of the pitch due to a hard fall at around 37th minutes.
Cambodian goalkeeper down in the court at 38th minutes during a tackle.
40th minutes: Shot on target by Chieffy Caligdon but was saved by the goalkeeper.

Second Half Action:

56th minutes a chance for the Philippines to score but they were just too unselfish and kept the ball off target.
57th Free kick for Cambodia got so much wild off target.
58th shot on target by Chieffy saved by the keeper.
57th slide by Niel a mistake for the Philippine keeper but the Cambodian failed to score.
66th Phil substituted by Denis Wolf
67th minutes Denis Wolf shot on target saved by the keeper.
69th minutes rains started to flood the pitch and at around 71st minutes Azkals goalie Neil Etheridge change boots and gloves.
73rd minutes another shot on target by Denis Wolf but failed to make a goal for the Azkals.
83rd minutes yellow card for Cambodia after a tackle with Carli de Murga.
87th Yellow card for the Philippine Azkals after a tackle from behind.
90+6 minutes added to the regular time, still both team were scoreless.
91 minutes a chance for Wolf but failed to capitalized.
