Marcus Jordan, Michael’s Son Fined with $250 Because of Disturbing Peace

Marcus Jordan, the son of the most popular basketball player in the world was fined with a $250.00 and court costs after he pleaded with no contest with the charged of disturbing the peace during an argument with a woman outside of Emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y Suites Hotel.

The 21-year-old of son Michael Jordan was also charged with obstructing a police officer but the charged was dropped as part of a plea agreement.

According to the court documents, Marcus Jordan was in Omaha for the US Olympic swim trials last July 1 and he was arrested after police officer responded to an early-morning call at Emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y Suites Hotel.

The police report stated that an off-duty security officer of the hotel was trying to subdue Jordan as he argued with two women in the driveway. The police report even recorded that Jordan was “very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative.”

During the deliberation at the Douglas County Court Marcus Jordan appeared with his Omaha attorney, Steve Lefler. He paid his fine after a three-minute hearing and left the courtroom without speaking to reporters.

Marcus Jordan who stands at 6 foot 3 is a varsity basketball star enrolled at Central Florida but no longer a member of the basketball team. He averaged 13.7 points for UCF last season.
