The third victim of the X Factor Eliminations was the girl group, A.K.A. Jam. They were evicted from the Philippine edition of the X Factor last Sunday night after receiving the lowest number of votes.
The girl group A.K.A. Jam which was mentored by Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano was evicted from ABS-CBN’s “The X Factor Philippines.”
AKA Jam found themselves at the bottom two with Daddy’s Home also receiving fewer votes from viewers. The group performed Tamia’s “Missing You,” while the other group Daddy’s Home did their version of “Maging Sino Ka Man” during the last performance for the judges save.
Daddy’s Home was voted out by Judges Martin Nievera and Charice while Pilita Corrales picked A.K.A. Jam while Gary V. decided to vote and evicted the girls which resulted in a deadlock in the judges’ votes.
According to the rules of the X Factor, if the four judges were deadlocked, the contestant with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated.
A.K.A. Jam received only a total of 4.42% of the votes while Daddy’s Home received 5.53% of the votes therefore A.K.A. Jam was eliminated from the competition.
The remaining nine finalists in the first season of “The X Factor Philippines,” were: Modesto Taran and Joan Da in the Over 25’s category; Take-off and Daddy’s Home in the Groups category; Jeric Medina, Gabriel Maturan and Kedebon Colim in the Boy’s category; and KZ Tandingan ang Allen Jane Sta. Maria in the Girls’ category.
Those who were already eliminated were; JER, Mark and A.K.A. Jam.
