Hollywood actress Katie Holmes ended her relationship with Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise by filing a divorce after 5 years of marriage. Aside from the divorced filed by Katie, she is also seeking for a sole custody of their child Suri.
For the past few months both celebrities were living separately and Katie Holmes refused to join Tom Cruise on his promotional tour with his latest movie “Rock of Ages.”
The 49-year-old Cruise was “deeply saddened” after he learned that his younger wife, Katie who is currently 33 years old had filed a separation. They were gifted with a six-year-old daughter Suri.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes was one of the most high-profile Hollywood relationship which ended up with both celebrities marrying, Tom also revealed that the former Dawson’s Creek actress had initiated the split. During the courting stages of their relationship, Katie told the media that she admired Tom Cruise since her childhood.
