James Younghusband, one of the most popular football player playing for the Philippine Azkals was interviewed by Boy Abunda on his segment “Ikaw Na” on June 13, 2012 episode of Bandila, ABS-CBN’s news and current affairs program.
During the interview James Younghusband told the story to Boy Abunda about the engagement proposals he received from two guys and a girl, although he got into an awkward situation of receiving proposal from guys he was in favor of same-sex marriage.
The Azkals’ midfielder and model James Younghusband explained the reasons why he was afraid with potato chips. James clarified also that he was not jealous with his younger brother Phil Younghusband whom he admitted that Phil was more popular than he was.
The most important revelations made by James Younghusband were the characters and the physical appearance of his ideal girl. What was James looking for a girl was someone who doesn’t picked about themselves, puts family family first and have unselfish characters.
Physically James ideal girl were those who possesses pretty eyes, not necessarily tall, have good hygiene, either long or short hair and most of all someone who loved football.
James did mention also a certain Sari Lazaro whom he described that they were on the getting to know each other stage. He was also thankful and surprised with Sari Lazaro’s presence during the Azkals’ game in Bacolod wherein they demolished Guam with the score 3-nil.
