The Oklahoma City Thunder eliminated one of NBA’s greatest franchise the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of their semi-finals series with the final score at 106-90 and moved on to the finals of the Western Conference. The Thunder will be facing another title-contender, the San Antonio Spurs, the team who sweeps the playoffs with eight-straight wins.
The Thunder made their second straight season appearance for the Western Conference Finals. Thunder’s version of the Big Three made a spectacular contributions in Game 5 with Russell Westbrook scored with 28 points, Kevin Durant added with 25 points and James Harden contributed with 17 points.
The Lakers could not defend against the determination of the young Thunder team although the former scoring champion Kobe Bryant managed to score with 42 big points, the Spanish international added with 14 points and 16 rebounds, Meta World Peace added with 11 points and Andrew Bynum contributed with 10 points.
