The religious group called “Biblemode Youth Philippines” were leading a campaign to banned the stylist female Lady Gaga in the Philippines. The group started their praying vigil last Saturday until the singer’s arrival in Manila for her two night concert on May 21-22 in The Arena at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
The Bible group’s campaign comes in a day after the American singer was refused by Jakarta, Indonesia to hold a concert scheduled at June 3, 2012. The main reasons is for security concerns after Islamic group voiced strong objections to her unusual and sometimes over the top costumes particular in “Judas” her latest single album.
Lady Gaga’s concert was recently cancelled in Indonesia after strong opposition from conservative Islamic groups. Some of Lady Gaga’s lyrics were satanic in nature according to the protesters. In South Korea she also received a strong protests.
