Lucy Torres Filed House Bill for Airports CCTV Camera

Congressman Lucy Torres-Gomez p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed a bill in the Lower House of the Republic of the Philippines or the House of Representatives regarding the lack of CCTV cameras on major public places especially at the airport.

During an interview conducted by the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Rep. Lucy Torres stated that there’s an urgent needs for CCTV cameras especially in the airport not only because of the recent problems that arose during the Santiago vs. Tulfo brawl but the most important things is the security of the people against terrorist threat.

The interview was conducted at the Metropolitan Museum sa Roxas Blvd., Malate, Manila during the book launch titled “Not On Our Watch” last May 10, 2012.

Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez was quoted as saying that “I just find it strange that we’re supposed to have CCTV cameras and if we have, it’s not working” she said. She adds further that “It’s a basic thing na we should have a CCTV camera that actually works.”

The bill which was p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed by Congressman Lucy Torres this week will probably be discuss this coming week. With regards to her reactions to the airport brawl between her friends Raymart and Claudine, she did not gave any comments.
