Many discussions made about when will be the NBA new season will start or if there will be a new season this year. And now, the NBA commissioner named David Stern has proclaimed that December 15 marks the launch of the NBA 72-game season.

Even though the NBA players are seemingly unprepared for such event, Stern as the commissioner supposed that the rejection of the latest proposal will result to a harsher offer. Worst thing is that, it could put the entire season at risk.

Hopes begin to rise that the talk scheduled for the next week will finally confirm the December 15 event.

After almost 11 hours of arrangement last Thursday, the (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation had come to a new offer, expecting that the season’s lockout will finally be concluded.

Last the Wednesday’s bargaining however, Stern recently suggested that the closing of the business must likely be acknowledged in order to stay away from a less favourable request of both sides.

The Union President Derek Fisher said that he needs to confer everything with the players.

Executive Director Billy Hunter added that either on Monday or Tuesday next week, they will be holding another group discussion to clarify if the deal is acceptable. But Stern cleared out things that they need not to meet again.

As of now, the players as well as he authorities are still making further analysis to make things fair and clear. So this could mean that the answer regarding the 72-game season that would start on December 15 lies next week.
