Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.ap truly turns his heart to his fellow Filipinos. With his charitable acts, the Philippine President deeply expressed his gratitude to this hip hop singer for his recent charitable acts.
Apl.de.ap is indeed proud of his citizenship – a Filipino-American. His warm thoughts and charitable heart seemingly gives more reasons that his fellow Filipino citizens will love him aside from his amazing talent.
With his desire to lift up the country’s situation in terms of education, President Benigno Aquino III commended Apl.de.ap for his good deed.
As a gratitude to Allan Pineda aka Apl.de.ap, a dinner was held at the residence of Rapa Lopa who is known to be the president of the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation.
Edwin Lacierda, the President’s Spokesperson told the media that President Aquino arrived at the said dinner to personally thank Apl.de.ap.
Apl.de.ap’s campaign for education was called “We Can Be Anything” in which the singer tied-up with the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation.
This education campaign was organized in order to raise funds that will help in building more cl(–foul word(s) removed–)rooms as well as learning centers in the public schools.
Allan Pineda invited the President to attend the Black Eyed Peas concert but a report confirmed that President Aquino will not be able to come. It was Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte who made such confirmation via a radio station.
Recalling the previous report, Apl.de.ap prepared a music video with the Sapang Bato Kids. Such move also intended to raise funds in helping less fortunate children for their education.
