Actress Angelina Jolie is making some steps to widen her role in the U.N. refugee agency to help more people.

Jolie is now trying to fix things for her promotion into a higher position in the agency from being a goodwill amb(–foul word(s) removed–)ador.

The Hollywood actress is well known for being one of the active members inside the agency, visiting dozens of countries to help.

In her given statement to the media, Jolie said that maybe in coming weeks they will have a discussion about her plan of changing her role in the agency but said that she doesn’t want to speed things up.

One of the possible roles that they are trying to study is being an envoy among those 2.7 million Afghan refugees fleeing for Pakistan and Iran.

Antonio Guterres, U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees have suggested the executives that if possible he would like Angelina Jolie to be his envoy for he believes that Jolie could be a great help in making strong international supports especially in times of unwanted situations.

Jolie has been vocal that since she started to serve in U.N., she was move by every situation she encounters and added that helping those people who are in need is truly rewarding and unforgettable.

According to Angelina those refugees that she met along the way are the people whom she considers vulnerable and resilient in this world.

Jolie described refugee people as those who are survivors despite of the hardship in life and serve as an inspiration that even in the midst of sadness and great loss there is hope.
