Two years had p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed when the King of Pop Michael Jackson died in a death that was blown with controversies and never-ending queries of what had really transpired and what caused his death at the age of 50.
Just today, the expected month long trial and investigation to his death had officially started and the man who is being in the hot seat is late Jackson’s doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray who was being accused for involuntary manslaughter for letting Jackson die alone.
Today’s trial as reported via dailymail.co.uk, revealed that in defense to Dr. Murray, his lawyer had said that the late King of Pop had caused his own death.
The defence had stressed that it was the combined trauma and pressure that the singer had felt regarding to his biggest show after 10 year that was supposed to be held in London that had drove him to take drugs causing his immediate death.
This is in contrary to the prosecutions accusation that Dr. Murray, 58, had practiced ‘gross negligence’ in letting the ‘vulnerable’ star in dying alone.
Medicines that were cited by the Defence attorney Ed Chernoff to have cause instant killing to Michael Jackson were several intakes of lorazepam pills which he said that Jackson took on the morning before his death. Lorazepam pills intake is enough to put someone to sleep. Furthermore, termed as “perfect storm in his body”, Attorney Chernoff claimed that Jackson had ingested the anesthetic propofol.
Reports mentioned that the late Michael Jackson and his Dr. Conrad Murray are indeed good friends.
Both the prosecution and the defence had presented proofs and evidences regarding to the immediate death of the King of Pop.
Furthermore, in relation to the involuntary manslaughter being attached to Dr. Murray, the latter pleaded not guilty and his attorneys denied the accusation that Dr. Murray had given any type of drugs that in a way or another had caused the death of the singer.
