Lolong, the giant crocodile still refuses to eat

Lolong, the crocodileStress hits not just to human but to animals as well, just like what the 21 feet crocodile named “Lolong” had been suffering 17 days after he was being departed from the swampland where it spend its years growing and surviving.

The result of the stress perhaps from being away from its natural habitat was that “Lolong” still refuses to eat.

It was an alarming news to some but animal experts said that for crocodiles, they can survived even if they would not eat regularly because it’s normal to them and for sizes like of Lolong, even if it would not take foods for a year, it would still survive as long as it had plenty of good meals before.

Lolong’s captured was indeed a big news not just in the Philippines but as well in the international scene.

The 21-feet crocodile was expected to create and to steal the record currently held by an 18 feet Australian crocodile in the Guinness Book of Records. And representatives are all set to come and to verify the exact measurement of this giant creature.

Currently, Lolong after captured was put into a big pond within an eco-park  near the  Agusan Marsh.

Upon capture, mixed reactions and opinions came out, some suggested and believed that Lolong must be put back to its natural home while residents who considered such big creature as a threat expressed their opposition.

In its new home, Lolong was considered as an attraction instead of being a monster that was dangerous.

Tourists came also to see the crocodile with their naked eye and one of the big names who came in and even took picture of Lolong was Senator Antonio Trillanes.

Furthermore, in order to take a glimpse of Lolong as published via digitaljournal.com, entrance fee was being collected, 10 pesos for the kids while 20 pesos for adult travelers. Collected fees would then be used for much greater cause that would also benefit more animals and to people as well.

With the existence of Lolong, the giant crocodile, could it be possible that a partner exist?
