Smart Gilas advances to the next round of the ongoing 2011 FIBA Asia Championship in Wuhan, China. They outscored and bombarded the lowly Bahrain with a tremendous performance and landed at the 2nd spot in Group D which was lead by China.
The Philippine National Basketball Team which is more popularly known as Smart Gilas Pilipinas had once again proven their worth as one of the favorite team of the tournament by subduing Bahrain with a final score of 113-71.
Smart Gilas although beaten by China yesterday came with an all out performance to retain its position as second best team in Group D.
