Kritzia Santos a Filipina “International World Youth Day” volunteer was the only chosen from all Asian country to represent during the Question-and-Answer event with the Pope of Vatican.
Santos was one among the 5 youth all over the world who has given the opportunity to ask the Pope a question.
In the middle of more than 1.5 million people who went on a journey to a place in Madrid, Spain for a religious reason, Santos asked the Pope her question: “It is my desire to reach high goals, but success and big dreams are always linked to am(–foul word(s) removed–)ing wealth and high positions. How can I be faithful to my faith without distancing myself from society?”
Then the Pope of Vatican answered her: “In the Gospel, Jesus gives us an answer…Deep in our hearts; we yearn for what is grand and beautiful in life, but ground them in Jesus.”
For the first time when Santos was approached to represent Asia in a question-and-answer experience with the Pope in which most people considered it as an exceptional opportunity to befallen for a youth like her, she was actually hesitated according to the CBCP New reported.
Other representatives from all over the world were asked dissimilar questions with Santos. One of them was asking about the famine condition in Africa, other was asking about the issue of Christian marriage and about Jesus as a center of all human desires.
Santos admitted that the experience she had with the Pope of Vatican would be one of her unforgettable experiences happened in her life. She also said that she treasures what she had experience during the question-and-answer event with the most reverend of Roman Catholic Church.
