The Philippine Dragon Boat Team successfully defended the “World Championship” title in Florida giving honor to the country by winning gold in the World Championship tournament.
The Philippine Dragon Boat Team defeated mighty contender from Australia and United States in the 1000-meters event category men’s race.
The gold medal won by the team is dedicated to all Filipino and to all who have heartily supported the competition.
More than 2,000 athletes coming to Florida from all over the world to witness the prestigious “World Championship” competition.
Many Filipinos from the United States are coming to Florida to witness the event and to see the Filipino participants.
A loud cheers and shout and raising the Philippine flag from the Filipino audience when they witnessed the Philippine Dragon Boat Team went ahead of the competition.
The team will be back to the Philippines bringing gold medal and honor to the country.
