Kim Kardashian is set to tie the knot with the NBA star Kris Humphries this coming August 20. Guess what? The 30-year old fiancé of Humphries wanted a wedding cake that is similar from that of Will and Kate’s cake during their Royal Wedding.
Sources say that Kim and Kris were spotted to visit Hansen’s Cakes in Los Angeles last Friday. It was known that the cake for their upcoming wedding may not be less than $15,000 but will not exceed to $20,000.
The Royal wedding cake of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was specially designed by Fiona Cairns, a well-known British baker. It was described to be a huge multi-layered fruitcake along with cream and white piping. The multi-tiered white cake has a delicious chocolate-chip icing surrounded with some special decorations.
Reports say that Kate wanted the white cake to appear a bit modernized when they were still on the wedding plan process.
