South Sudan is the newest country of the world

Philippines recognized the birth of South Sudan as the newest country in the world. South Sudan was triumphant in having its independence from the north on the 9th of July 2011, Department of Foreign Affairs said. The country also wanted to establish diplomatic relations and is open for new business opportunities to all the countries.

Thousands of South Sudanese were victoriously dancing by the dusty streets of Juba during the first hours of their independence. Even how hard the Security Forces tried to stop them the jubilant supporters were uncontrollable; everyone was overwhelming for winning the independence that they were fighting, for so long. The ceremony was blessed by Christian Priests in full robe.

It became harder for the officials to guard all the people who came out during independence ceremony, since, the President of Sudan and the civil war foe of the south, Omar H(–foul word(s) removed–)an al-Bashir was there.

Darfur rebel leader Abdel Wahed al-Nur also brought two hundred of his militia men during the ceremony. A possible allegiance with the south was also foreseen. Abdel together with his men fought in Khartoum for 8 long years and one of his men spotted waving a banner “El Bashir is wanted dead or alive.”
