Maria Shriver is making her first step to live on her own by starting to renovate her new house located on Brentwood, California.
The soon to be ex-wife of former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has bought the said house which is worth 10 million dollars but there are no specific date on when will Shriver transfer to her new house.
As of now, the renovation is still ongoing and it is expected to finish after three months.
On the other hand, Maria is currently busy taking care of her 13 year-old son Christopher who was previously hospitalized due to a serious boogie-boarding accident.
One of the sources said in Radar Online that Shriver is very much excited to move in to her new house but lately she wasn’t able to check out the progress in the renovation due to the accident of her son. Maria chooses to focus first on her son Christopher before settling this matter.
It was also quoted in Radar that there are still a lot of things that needs to be done in the house but Maria is looking forward to finish it with in 3 months. Shriver is in positive outlook that her divorce with Arnold will be done soon.
