In Florida, a teenager killed his parents and posted a Facebook invite for a house party. He killed his parents with a hammer and accommodating lots of people while the bludgeoned bodies of the adults were locked in the master bedroom.
17 year old Tyler Hadley is charged of first-degree murder in the deaths of his parents Blake and Mary-Jo Hadley. The police believe that they were hit on their heads and torsos last Sunday, and after the murder Tyler posted on Facebook telling his friends that he will be having a party. He was to make his first court appearance Tuesday.
According to the investigators the couple were attacked outside their master bedroom and were transferred to the room with the door locked. The teenager is now at a juvenile detention center and not yet confirmed if he has an attorney.
The incident brought shock to their neighbours and Tyler’s cl(–foul word(s) removed–)mates.
Tyler’s friend, Johnna Izzo, gave a statement to Miami television station WSVN. “He just seemed normal, I didn’t think anything was wrong with him,”
“This is not the Tyler I remember. What happened? … He and his dad would be shooting hoops (in the driveway).”, said Neighbor Raeann Wallace.
According to Port St. Lucie Police spokesman Tom Nichol, the party was held Saturday night, nearly 60 people attended. The party was too loud and caused a noise complaint, the place was visited by the police. They arrived 1:30 a.m. Sunday, the party was already about to end.
The police also received that there was a slaying have occurred in the place. They return to the house 4:20 a.m. discovering the deed bodies covered with towels and other things, and the hammer was found between the couple.
Police believed that the deaths were caused by blunt-force trauma. The autopsies are ongoing.
54 year old father worked for Florida Power and Light and the 47 year old mother worked as a teacher in an elementary school. Aside from Tyler, they also have a 23 year old son who lives out-of-state.
Tyler is an undergraduate student of St. Lucie West Centennial High School. They find the motive still unclear.
