Players of the trending blockbuster game “Angry Birds” catapulted more than 100 billion realistic birds in the game’s numerous versions.
The game has outstripped 300 million downloads. It has also positioned its direction on becoming the first entertainment franchise with 1 billion fans worldwide according to Peter Vesterbacka, chief of Rovio, the Finnish developer behind the blockbuster game.
To arrive at that aim, the makers of the particular game are spreading out ways beyond the product which has been transcended applications for iPhones, iPads and Android devices for more than a year.
“Angry Birds” toys, stuffed birds and a lot more stuffs have been top sellers, and a board game will attack stores soon.
The makers are proud of their series of books of the game “Angry Birds” that includes a cook book of egg recipes. There are also animated series and they are looking forward for an affirmable feature film.
According to Vesterbacka, they made a lot of “Angry Birds” stuffs even though they’ve been told several times not to do so because they believe that since they have a strong brand, they can do anything they want. And they are only making it for the fanatics of the game which in fact are being craved for.
Rovio’s builders tried to touch a match in producing the game between those (–foul word(s) removed–)ertive players and frustrating them with the levels that were too difficult. This is to challenge the players and for them to go after to progress for the new levels of the game. And many believes that in that matter, they really get what they planned to make.
According to Vesterbacka, they are looking at both sides and they know that it’s essential that they don’t abuse the player. They know how it feels to achieve something that you’ve been attached for a long time and remaining in that level and finally clearing that level out. He said that it is such a great sense of accomplishment.
“Angry Birds” should be addictive, but not in an unhealthy way. It shouldn’t be like smoking”, Vesterbacka said.
The game was (–foul word(s) removed–)embled to click. And the makers were very conclusive about it.
