Geo Ed Rebucas had captured the audiences during his audition for Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 held in Cebu City. The 20-year-old nursing graduate from the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus was one of the favorites during the audition. Judges Kris Aquino, Ai-ai de las Alas and FMG were so amazed with the quality of the voice of Geo.
Geo had been working as a part-time host and comedian in a comedy bar located at Mango Avenue near Robinsons Place Cebu. He came from Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. Geo was working at 22nd St. Comedy Bar in Cebu City. He graduated last March 2011.
Geo’s rendition of the song “I Can Make It Through The Rain” was so powerful that nobody would thought that the one singing the song was indeed a boy or gay as what he had mentioned during the interview. The falsetto was so amazing that even the ladies who will try to reach the peak of the voice will find it hard to duplicate what Geo had done.
The talent of Geo will be a challenge to the reigning Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Winner Marcelito Pomoy. Although he was just starting to be exposed on nationwide audiences but he had already a huge following in social networking sites especially in Facebook and YouTube.
The journey of Geo Ed Rebucas had just started right now he was being noticed not only in Cebu but in the entire country as well. He had been performing in a comedy bar and his experience will surely bring him to greater heights of his career.
Various facebook pages had been created for the newest singing sensation and one of his videos in YouTube had already garnered more than 40,000 views.
