Mario Maurer is set to visit Manila for an endorsement of a local clothing brand in the country.
The Thai actor will be brought here by the PR Asia agency after it has signed a contract to them. The agency was also the one responsible for bringing the Hollywood actor Ed Westwick in the country.
Mario Maurer became popular in the Philippines in his movie “First Love” (“Crazy Llittle Thing Called Love”) as he plays the role of P’Shone in the hit Thai movie. The said movie even topped the day time ratings when it was aired in the kapamilya network ABS-CBN proving the popularity of the heartthrob actor
This is the first endorsement of the 24 year-old actor in the country and many of his fans are very much excited to see their idol.
Maurer was first seen in the 2007 movie “The First Love of Siam” and until then the career of the actor sour high in the showbiz industry in Thailand.
Speculations are coming out that Mario will be match with Kapuso talent Marian Rivera in his endorsement however, according to one of the PR Asia officials Joyce Ramirez; she said Mario will be endorsing the clothing line Penshoppe and so he will not be paired to Marian since the actress is also endorsing a rival brand.
The coming of the Thai-actor in the country is much awaited by many of his fans that it even became a trending topic in the micro blogging site twitter.
