Derek Ramsay is now facing a big controversy which states that his name appears to be legally married with a non-showbiz girl identified as Mary Christine Jolly. Their marriage certificate definitely came from the National Statistics Office (NSO).
It was in April 3, 2002 that Derek Arthur Ramsay married Mary Christine Jolly who was known to be an Indian-Filipino model. At that time, Ramsay was 26 years old while Jolly was 21. Mary Christine was born in Las Piñas.
The document also states that both tied the knot in Bulacan sited at the office of Mayor Reinaldo Castro who was authorized to wed the couple whose marriage certificates were signed by two witnesses.
After a legal (–foul word(s) removed–)sment conducted by Atty. Jean Ferry, it was proven that the marriage was valid.This is for the fact that the document does not have an annotation of nullification.
Given that this case is a personal issue for Derek Ramsay, the actor told the media that he and her girlfriend Angelica strives to face the situations positively so they will be able to fight the controversies that apparently intervenes their relationship.
