The auction was held in Beverly Hills and the purchaser of the jacket was a citizen from Austin, Texas. The person who bought the jacket in $1.8 million is a commodity trader named Milton Verret.

To be specific, the exact scene wherein MJ had worn that auctioned jacket was during the moment that he was dancing with the zombies, group of zombies who had risen out from their grieves.
Some of the proceeds from the auctioned jacket will be used and be given to Shambala Preserve. Shambala Preserve is a sanctuary for big cats and in this sanctuary, MJ had own one among the two cared tigers.
As with the jacket, the buyer will be sending the jacket into tour as well as it will be utilize to be an instrument in gaining funds for children’s charity.
