Harry Potter: His adventure now on E-Books

Harry Potter NovelThe best-selling novel of all time and considered one of the most-successful book-based movie Harry Potter from the very popular J.K Rowling had opened a new way of reaching out its audience from all ages and generation, this time, the seven book series is converted into an e-book.

E-book is one of the current trends in technology wherein books and other readable materials which were printed before are now being transported into portable,easy to access books that can be downloaded and purchased online or can be embedded in tablet.

The announcement was made after J.K Rowling launched its very mysterious website “Pottermore.com” Today, some of the questions which were not answered before upon the launch were now given a clearer picture. Pottermore will be the exclusive distributor of Harry Potter e-books, and this is what they called as Rowlings Pottermore Publishing.

Pottermore website will be accessible starting July 31 and the first 1 million members will be given the opportunity to help building the site. The site as expected in the name will showcase digital games and features all about Harry Potter and his magical and breathtaking journey.

July 31, to recall is Harry Potter’s birthday. But, its initial online mode on July 31 is just a start-up, for the site will be officially opened to everyone by October.

Harry Potter’s distribution via e-book is expected to be another blast after the tremendous success of the novel since its distribution had reached sales soaring to 450 million copies when it was sold in Britain through Bloomsbury and at the same time, the United States market was catered through Scholastic.

The creation of Pottermore website is a realization of the long term plan of putting a much convenient and very user accessible connection to Harry Potter.

With this new development and of bringing the book into a wider perspective, Rowling said that despite the success of the series, book number eight is not yet on the plan.
