Miley Cyrus, the American singer and Hannah Montana star will perform tonight at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City, Metro Manila. Philippines was the only country that was included in her world tour concert “Gypsy Heart Tour”. After her concert in Manila she will perform in Australia.
Concert organizers in Manila were expecting an estimated 30,000 people to attend the concert at around 8:00 P.M. (Manila Time). Sam Concepcion and Elmo Magalona will also perform as a front act on Miley Cyrus concert in Manila.
In an interview after her arrival in Manila she was quoted as saying “The fans have been amazing. I’ve been on this show (referring to her appearance in Eat Bulaga) and they’re all super stoked. They had signs. It’s just great when you see people excited. I guess it helps when it’s your first time here.” Miley said when asked about her thought of Manila.
Miley Cyrus recent tours in South America had been successful and for her she was so overwhelmed by the excitement given to her by her fans in Spanish-speaking countries although they spoke different languages but they were connected through her music.
The Gypsy Heart Tour concert also known as Corazon Gitano Tour was her third concert supporting her third studio album “Can’t Be Tamed” (2010). The concert started in Quito last April 29, 2011 and will conclude on June 21, Â in Perth Australia.
Miley Cyrus Concert in Manila was produced by Music Management International and Futuretainment Inc. The concert was sponsored by Smart, Olay, Whisper, GMA, Jag, McDonalds, Fox, Starworld, Myx and Mall of Asia.
