LulzSec claims hacking CIA website

Popular “Hacktivist” group, the Lulz Security had announced that they had hacked the website managed by the U.S Central Intelligence Ageny (CIA.gov), after it could not be accessed on Wednesday.

Despite their claim that they had successfully accessed CIA’s website, the group didn’t give further announcement if they had accessed vital and sensitive information from the said site.

Posted in their Twitter Feed: “Tango down – cia.gov – for the lulz”.

Up to this time, CIA didn’t give any statement about the claimed attack of LulzSec.

This alleged hacking incident for CIA.gov was an addition to the trending hacking incident spearheaded by LulzSec.

Prior to the said attack, it took place after this group of hackers had launched a telephone system to reach people. They used this technology so that people can suggest agencies or corporation that they want to be hacked.

Moreover, LulzSec also mentioned that they had organised the so-called denial of service to their targeted sites.

LulzSec had been making noise early this year after they had attacked several high-profile sites including that of Sony Corporation such as Sony Playstation Network, Sonypictures.com and Sony Music Japan.

Also, they are the people behind intrusion of Lockheed Martin, Infragard,Nintedo.com and PBS.com wherein they posted fake news articles.

Location of this group of hackers were still being determined even though the area code of their telephone number launched gives Ohio as the address but authorities were not sure if it was there real location.

The members of this group are wanted and hunted by the authorities for breaking internet laws.

LulzSec are group of hackers who make use weakness of a particular site for their benefit. They used their potential to tell those sites that they still got problems on their site.

Members of LulzSec were believed to be scattering all over the world.
