Regular viewers were surprised knowing about a report saying that the actor Laurence Fishburne decided to leave the hit show CSI.
Fishburne already p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed more than two CSI seasons in the television history. The CBS show now considers it as an opportunity for some kind of redevelopment.
Playing the role of Dr Raymond Langstonin in CSI, Fishburne has actually won an Emmy award and he had also got an Oscar nomination in his seemingly fitted role.
His decision of moving on after a lengthy television career was confirmed in USA Today.
Looking back, Fishburne had the opportunity to take a role in CSI when he replaced the famous CSI artist William Peterson who happened to depart a role in the CSI TV series for season 2008 to 2009. Everyone could say that he perfectly possess the standards they were looking in replacement for Peterson.
But of course, Fishburne has his own reason of leaving. The show must go on. Heading its way to Season 13 they will still be looking for those prospective entertainment artists.
Looking for a new lead actor or actress is not quite a big deal though. Several stars were considered who might undergo for selections. Theses stars were namely Michael Chiklis , Dylan McDermott, Elizabeth Mitchell, Mark Valley and many others.
CSI will be on air with its new timeslot which will be every Wednesday at 10pm.
