Microsoft previews their upcoming Windows 8

As evidence that they are “not out of the game”, Microsoft had given a preview to the consumers as well as to other technology lover their upcoming and new version of Windows, brand with the codename:”Windows 8.

Microsoft is still on the move of putting its services in a unique and unified manner to which with the soon to be launching and the under development of Windows 8, they are seeing to it that this new version will be similar that of the software running in phones, tablets, and even to portable computers.

Preview of Windows 8 shows a start screen depicting a tiled layout which is similar to Microsoft’s newest mobile operating system. From those live tiles, users will be able to navigate the linked and (–foul word(s) removed–)ociated applications. If they are in touch screen, they can simply press it but if they are in traditional, they got to click the mouse and do it also on keyboard.

It was also said that the new Windows 8 will run either with the use of touch screen or via traditional keyboard and mouse tandem. Originally, the design of the new version was inspired for touch screen purposes however, to cater with those who are still in traditional ways of computing, the version will still function with it.

There is no specific date to when will be the said new version will be out in the market, however, it’s expected that by last quarter of 2012, Windows 8 will be very visible.

The said preview of their upcoming Windows took place in the U.S and Taiwan during the technology conferences.

Some may say that Microsoft is beyond Apple due to its success in iPad Tablet, but to this new operating system, the higher and newer version of Windows tells that Microsoft is still on the game. Bringing “Be what’s next” to the people.
