Sam Pinto, the model turned actress have emerged as the hottest and sexiest women on FHM online survey for the 100 Sexiest Women in the world. She had overtaken the number 1 spot, formerly belongs to Kapuso actress Marian Rivera which was dropped to third spot while Angel Locsin remains on the number 2 spot according to the latest tally as of May 20, 2011.
In an interview conducted by pep.ph, Sam was quoted as saying “It’s very overwhelming because I really wasn’t expecting me to be number one,” said the young actress. She further adds that “I was only campaigning through Twitter [@pintosamuelle] and my official Facebook Fan Page. So, it’s crazy! But still I’m very happy. I hope I will remain number one.” according to Sam.
Sam Pinto’s popularity was on the rise during the time when she was selected as one of the Pinoy Big Brother Housemate in ABS-CBN. Sam before entering into the reality show had been a model since her early days appearing on posters of Coca-Cola. Sam was also a model of Sunsilk, Colgate, Palmolive, McDonalds and Smart to name a few. She was an official endorser of the clothing brand BAYO.
Sam Pinto whose real name is Samuelle Lynne Acosta Pinto was born on December 11, 1989. She is now 21 years old. From her short stint in ABS-CBN she has now a three-year contract with GMA-7 last September 7, 2010.
On her twitter account Sam Pinto wanted to changed her name from PintoSamuelle to a shorter version of just Sam.Pinto, she was quoted on her twitter as “Thinking of changing my name here in Twitter to Sam.Pinto What do you guys think? I want it simple. PintoSamuelle is too long! Haha,” Sam said.
She then made a follow-up tweets stating that twitter will not allow having a dot on its name, some choices was also been taken by another user also, she tweeted “Bad news! They don’t allow dot and someone took Sam_Pinto and SamPinto already! These posers! Grrr.. SamiPinto? Haha.” Sam tweeted.
Sam was lagging behind two of the Philippines’ most popular artist, Marian Rivera and Angel Locsin but currently she ranked third, proving to herself that she was indeed one of the names to be watched for in the entertainment industry.
