Peter Fonda Calls President Obama A Traitor

Peter Fonda, the executive producer of a documentary film “The Big Fix” calls American President Barrack Obama “A Traitor.” He had some harsh words directly pointing out that President Obama was indeed a traitor. He shared his outraged with the way the present administration handles the worst oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

According to Fonda he had sent an e-mail directly to the president. During the 2011 Cannes Film Festival he was quoted as saying in an interview as “I sent an email to President Obama saying, ‘You are a f**king traitor,’ using those words … ‘You’re a traitor, you allowed foreign boots on our soil telling our military — in this case the coastguard — what they can and could not do, and telling us, the citizens of the United States, what we could or could not do’.

Peter Fonda told the press at the American Pavillion during the promotion about his discontent with the way BP handles the oil spill issue. ” He slammed  BP, calling the company “a bunch of Brits.” “I thought we kicked them out a long time ago,” he added.

Peter Fonda sent the said e-mail last week and until now he is still waiting for the response from the president regarding the issue.

“The Big Fix” was a provocative documentary film, starring husband-and-wife American directors Josh and Rebecca Tickell. Peter Fonda had some appearance in the film. It tells the story about the effects of the oil spill at the Gulf of Mexico particularly the fishing village in Louisiana.

Numerous voices of the the affected residents were present in the documentary while officials from BP declined to comment although they were given a chance to air their side of the story. The film disputes the claimed by the BP PLC-owned Deepwater Horizon rig that they have already cleaned up or dispersed the oil spill. Last April 10, 2010 million of galloons of oil had spilled to the vast oceans after the rig explosion.

“The Big Fix” had an official premiere at the French Riviera festival last Tuesday. It was co-produced by Tim Robbins ang Peter Fonda.

Peter Fonda became popular with the 1969 movie “Easy Rider” had accused Washington of trying to cover up the mess brought about by the worst oil spill in American history. With the kind of strategy used by Peter Fonda, he was putting himself against imminent attacked from the supporters of the American President.
