Last May 18, 2011 Wednesday (US Time), Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girl)” video premiered at American Idol Season 10 during the final performance of the three remaining idols, Lauren, Haley and Scotty. “Run the world (girls) was the first single for Beyonce’s upcoming album titled 4 due to release on June 28 by Columbia Records.
The video brings the sexy dancing Beyonce in the outskirts of African deserts, she was dressed in a high-fashion couture. The video was packed with a lot of girl power. The costumes were elaborately made and the settings were comparable to a Hollywood movie production.
“Run the world (Girl)” video features Beyonce’s new direction as an artist. She’s never strutted or preened the way she does in this particular video. The video was directed by Francis Lawrence.
