MANILA, Philippines – For her 62nd birthday bash, Dionisia Pacquiao, the Pacmom, the mother of Sarangani congressman and the 8-division boxing champ Manny Pacquiao had prepared a celebration in a grand style which cost is expected to reach one million pesos.
Pacmom’s birthday is one of the awaited celebrations in General Santos which is also followed by Filipinos around the world.
Currently, the Pacmom is busy having her overtime rehearsals to perfect her Argentine Tango that she will perform this weekend during her birthday party.
The venue of the event will be at the Pacquiao gym in General Santos City, and at present the organizers are all busy decorating the place to make it look in its best. This year’s birthday party is themed for summer tropical and the venue will be full of thousands of fresh flowers.
Pacmom had distributed 800 invitations to her friends and special guests that include former President Joseph Estrada and Comedy Queen Ai-ai delas Alas whom she had worked with in a film.
The birthday also joins with the victory of Manny Pacquiao who had successfully defended his World Boxing Organization welterweight crown against Sugar Shane Mosley held in Las Vegas last May 8.
Apart from the grand birthday party, Pacmom is already happy because her son won on its latest match. Further, her wish is also granted, a one million worth Hermes bag is given as present to her by the boxing superstar aside from the other gifts that she is to receive. In fact, the Pacmom was so excited when she was told by her daughter-in-law, Jinkee (Manny’s wife) that she now had the Hermes bag and the Pacmom can’t hardly wait to have it.
