During the ‘Earth Day’ celebration, was introduced the 50 candidates for Miss Philippines Earth 2011 that joined the bikini presentation in the Resorts World pool.
All candidates were produced by the regional beauty search contests.
Among of the candidates that attract the more attention is Ish Ramos from Cainta who is compared to Miss Body Beautiful Vivian Velez.
“She is very beautiful and I feel honored to actually being compared to her,” Ramos said.
Also the early favorite Cebuana collegial Muriel Orais.
“I’m so glad that I am here in Manila to join the contest,” Orias said.
The British-Pinay law student Margo Midwinter who is looks alike to the fiancée of Prince William; Kate Middleton was also very intriguing.
Margo had been showed to Queen Elizabeth II in her Jubilee Year in 2002.
“She seems really nice and she’s going to be the future princess and queen. It’s okay with me to be compared to Kate Middleton.,” Midwinter said.
UAAP courtside reporter Diane Querrer and RPN 9 reporter Vivienne Gulla were also included among the most attractive candidate Miss Philippines Earth 2011.
“With my experience as a reporter, I know that I can perform a good job of becoming a spokesperson for the environment,” Gulla said.
The coronation night will be brought to you by ABS-CBN on June 5, 2001 in Puerto Princesa.

Another proof that indeed we Filipinos are lovers of beauty. The pageant will not only showcase the beauty of the Filipinos but the most important thing is the message of the pageant, “a beauty for a cause”.
