A rocket carrying three satellites had been successfully launched in India according to Indian authorities.
It was a straightforward satellite launch unlike what had happened way back in December when a satellite fell towards the Bay of Bengal instead of going up to its destination.

The satellite, known as the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) was observed to undergo a smooth lift-off. In an orbit at about 820km above the Earth, the satellites were successfully deployed.

The launching took place in Andhra Pradesh where staff applauded as they witnessed the rocket to take off.

The main satellite will work to be able to study how the earth’s natural resources are being influenced by human beings.

Reports say that the rocket as well carried a combined Indian and Russian satellite intended for stellar and atmospheric studies. It also has an imaging orbiter made by the Nanyang Technological University that is based in Singapore.

Various journalists say that the triumph felt by the scientists and technicians are barely described a contrast to the December event. A live television broadcast was aired when the launched satellite had been blown upwards but instead of reaching to its expected flight path, it fell into the Bay of Bengal.

The rocket supposed to carry a satellite for communications but that incident was noted to be the second consecutive failure to launch a rocket.

By 2016, India looks forward to send its first manned flight into space. Such space exploration program becomes an honor that highlights its occurrence as a major world economy. Most Indian nationals consider it as an honor that goes along with their ongoing improvement.

At present, India is recorded to be the fourth country to plant its colors on the Moon’s surface following the countries of America, Russia and Japan.
