The biggest distributor of electricity in the country, the Manila Electric Cooperative advised its customers, especially those who are planning to go elsewhere this Holy Week to observe proper safety measures especially the wirings in their house that might cause a wild fire
Alfredo S. Panlilio, customer retail services and corporate communications head of Meralco said that the best way to keep away from any danger that might occur is by following some simple safety measures. This includes the using of light bulbs of specified wattage for lamp or lighting fixture, avoiding ‘octopus connections,’ and keeping combustible materials away from lamps and other sources of heat.
Meralco (–foul word(s) removed–)ured it’s 4.8 million customers that the distribution utility is ready to provide them the 24 hours service even during the Holy Week season. This is according to Panlilio.
As of now, Meralco’s crew are now ready to respond to any emergency alert that might happen during the Holy Week. Panlilio also said that Meralco has already put in place all the things and measures that would allow them to respond immediately to any unexpected power outages and interruptions.
For emergency circumstances, Panlilio advice their customer not to hesitate to call them to give the necessary actions to solved their problems. He said that their office is open 24 hours call center hotline at telephone number 16211.
He said that there customer service is ready and alert to respond to any problems of their customers 24/7 this Holy Week.
