The famous Corporation Sony Ericson is planning to shutdown their company premises in Japan due to the ongoing power shortage in the country.
According to the official statement coming from the company, they are now in the process of giving their staffs a two weeks off for these summer months for them to save energy.
Until now Japan is still experiencing power shortage after the damaged caused by the twin disaster that stroked the country last March 2011 that destroyed their nuclear and thermal power stations.
Save Energy and reduce energy consumption has been requested by the government of Japan last week to the entire manufacturer in the country.
As the summer months are coming, it is expected that the power shortage in Japan would likely to get worse as the demand for electricity is increasing in this months.
This situation of Japan forced many of the manufacturers to come up some strategies to lessen the power consumption, while trying to maintain its level of production.
Sony Ericson is now proposing the various national holidays in the country and let the employees to work in these days when the power supply problem in the country is likely to improve as a coup up to their days of off’s in work.

Many of the companies in Japan are now experiencing production problem due to power cuts.
Toyota known to be as one of the biggest producers of cars in the world has suspended some of its factories in Japan and reduced its production output at its North America and European factories.
Including the companies that were forced to slow down their productions are Nissan and Honda.
Some analyst said that for Japan to get back their economy and industry they have to address this problem quickly.
