Previously, the US government announced about their so called government shutdown. To define, a government shutdown is when the government refrains in offering and rendering unessential services extended to public for them to made settlements of their budgets to be spent for the state’s programs and projects on the approaching fiscal year.

This government shutdown would greatly affect the citizens and most especially those who are serving under the US Military Forces.

It is said the US government recently sends more than 150,000 US troops overseas to perform their duties in the presence of wars and other unpredictable incidents such as calamities. Some of these militaries were already sent and (–foul word(s) removed–)igned in Libya for supporting the country to bring out peace and others were also serving in Japan as military aids for search and rescue operations as they were still experiencing heavy earthquakes.

Pentagon declared that there would be a delay in releasing death benefits to be received by families just in case a member of the United States Military Forces dies during his service. The beneficiaries shall supposedly receive about $100,000 as payments of these death benefits. These said payments are rated as one of the major budgets being set aside and allocated in the government funds.

The Pentagon also said that Military paychecks would probably be released in full amount on the 15th day of April if ever the government recovers from shutdown by Tuesday. A failure to recover on the said day, militaries will only received partial payments of their paychecks.

But in action, many of military finance institutions are willing to extend their help to the families to keep them free from debts and financial incapacities during the shutdown period of the US Government.
