Fifth ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Movie in Process

The fourth film of Pirates of the Caribbean series didn’t hit the theaters yet and Disney has already started working on the fifth installment of the series. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer announced in USA Today that the screenplay for the fifth film is in its process.

Revealing a very little about the future film, Bruckheimer told that it will be a stand alone, it means it won’t be attached with its predecessor ‘On Stranger Tides’ (which is a stand-alone as well). According to Bruckheimer the audience liked the idea of fourth film ‘On stranger tides’, they found it fresh and new and that’s why they want to make the next part of series a stand-alone again.

The producer also confirmed that the fifth installment will feature Johnny Depp in an important role. He told that Johnny loves his character and is willing to go on further adventures wearing his lovely and favorite ‘Jack Sparrow’ costume.

Talking about the difficulties they faced while shooting the fourth film in 3-D Bruckheimer told that first they were afraid about using this new technology. By giving the example of Avatar he explained that previous 3-D films were done in sound studios and there challenge was to take those cameras to jungle and other adventures places .But admiring their director Rob Marshall he told that Rob has done enormous amount of research with the cinematographer and finally they were able to impress Disney for the 3-D project.

The fourth part of the Pirates series “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” will appear in theatres on May 20. In the new film Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) will be seen discovering the fountain of youth. They are joined by Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane this time.

Fans get ready to enjoy the next trip of Captain Jack Sparrow!! In 3-D.
