Britney Spears sued for more than $10 million for a deal with a former business partner.

Famous singer Britney Spears had been sued by her former brand marketing company partner for fraud, deceit and breach of contract.

Britney who is now 29 years old was strike with a $10 million charge on Wednesday in connection to her deal with cosmetics company giant Elizabeth Arden worth $15 million annually.

Along with Britney’s father, the Los Angeles County Superior Court were accused for being “sneaky and underhanded” in their stealthy moves to cut a royalty deal Elizabeth Arden company.

The company started working with Britney in the year 2003 and it was in 2004 when she eventually brokered the perfume deal. This was according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit stated that Britney have secretly made a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky underhanded effort to circumvent and evade its obligations to Brand Sense.

Last year, they made negotiations for a new deal of the hottest perfume scent of the singer known as Radiance. The suit says that the negotiation among Britney and Elizabeth Arden directly violated the deal that was originally made with Brand Sense.

Because of this, the said marketing company seeks an amount of more than $10 million and penal damages. The judge is asked to rule that Brand Sense must have contractual right to a 35 percent commission on all lines Britney Spears-branded perfumes sold by Elizabeth Arden.

Jeff Raymond, publicist of Spears didn’t return an email right away for those who seek for comments but the website RadarOnline.com handed the news Wednesday.

Controlling Britney’s financial dealings are Jamie Spears and a lawyer as part of the 2008 court’s conservatorship order following many incidents of Britney’s hospitalizations and unreliable behavior.

This week had been rocky for Spears. She debuted her seventh studio album entitled “Femme Fatale” Tuesday.
