Radio Broadcaster was dead by a Gunshot in Malabon

A radio broadcaster was shot dead in Malabon City.

Police reported that a woman radio broadcaster was dead by a gunshot in the city of Malabon in Metro Manila early this Thursday.

A radio anchor of “Arangkada 1530”, Maria Len Flores-Somera was identified to be the victim through the statement given by the chief Edgardo Ladao of Northern Police District.

The (–foul word(s) removed–)ailant had not yet been identified as police authorities still conduct further investigations regarding the said incident.

The shooting incident occurred at around 9:30am.

According to her co-worker Neil Miranda, the victim was heading her way to the radio station as she p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed along the Solonian Street in the village of Maysilo when the gun was discharged by an isolated gunman leading her to death.

Somera was declared dead on arrival though she was hurriedly brought to Valenzuela General Hospital.

The victim gave in after she had sustained the bullet wound reaching towards her nape. Reports have been taken through the Northern Police District via Police Officer 2 Roderick Cruz.

Further reports have been said that the cell phone of Somera had been missing leading to a suspicion that it was due to robbery that the sudden event came to p(–foul word(s) removed–).

On the other hand, PO2 Cruz told the media that they have been undergoing through deep researches that will be able to determine the suspect behind the shootout.

Police authorities will seek to know the suspect’s real intentions herewith.
