Hollywood Star Elizabeth Taylor Dies in Los Angeles at the age of 79

Violet-eyed Elizabeth Taylor is considered to be the most beautiful actress of her time.

Elizabeth Taylor, one of the highly recognized Hollywood icons for the 20th Century died of congestive heart failure at the age of 79 in Los Angeles Wednesday.

Struggling for a long time, Taylor suffered symptoms regarding congestive heart failure as she was known to have been admitted in Cedars-Sinai hospital six weeks ago.

Her four children were beside her at the moment that she finally took her last breath. Michael Wilding, her son, have said in a statement  that his mother is considered to be an extraordinary woman who have lived her life to the fullest carrying with her the p(–foul word(s) removed–)ion, humour and love.

Taylor bagged an award for best actress twice in the Academy. She was recognized for her roles in many great films such as in “Cleopatra”, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” and “National Velvet”.

Meanwhile, the Welsh-born actor Richard Burton is one of Taylor’s eight husbands who were considered to take the biggest part of her love story.

Despite the fact that she was involved in many relationships, she was one of the actresses to participate in fund raising charity to fight against AIDS/HIV. In fact, Taylor stood to be a chairwoman for the American Foundation for AIDS Research.

She started shining in the spotlight at an early age of 12. Moreover, many have considered her to be one of the supreme actresses in Hollywood in line of the most beautiful women of her time.

In 1950s and 1960s she was able to attain the topmost level of her entertainment career along with her four Oscar nominations starting in the year 1958 on the way to 1961.

However, when health problems came to trigger at the later part of her life, she decided to leave publicity but she was spotted to attend Michael Jackson’s funeral in 2009.

Motion Picture (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation of America Chairman, Chris Dodd, believed that Taylor was truly an American icon. Added to that is his statement saying that Elizabeth Taylor had many immeasurable contributions in the field of motion pictures.

Taylor was born on February 27, 1932 in London and was raised in California by her parents who were both American citizens. Taylor’s life went through many ups and downs but she had able to leave a great legacy for being a fulfilled actress.
