Before, it was a hoax message that came from different unknown texters that the nuclear radiation from Japan will hit the Philippines that brought up by the tsunami from the said country that had damage one of the nuclear plants.
But just today, experts said that the radiation has been detected thousands of kilometers away in US west coast and eastern Russia and will travel south tonight.
According to Dr Romeo F. Quijano, as the evidence of the changing of wind direction, “There is already a significant breach in the reactor core containment facilities, both immediate and secondary. There is no doubt that significant amounts of radioactivity had already been released into the open environment, exposing thousands of people within several kilometers radius. It is highly probable that this radiation pollution will worsen in the next few days and will most likely reach the Philippines.”
Experts in the Philippines said that the radiation will absolutely affect the country, thus announcing the Filipinos to be alert.
US Environmental Protection Agency and Energy Department said that the level of radiation registered in Sacramento, California, was about ”one-millionth of the dose” a person gets from rocks, bricks, the sun and natural background sources, and ”poses no concern.”
The agency also detected the similar level of the radioactive isotope of the xenon-133, which was consistent with a release from Fukushima reactors in northern Japan in Washington State. The nuclear experts of President Barrack Obama said that there is unexpected harmful levels of the said radiation that will reach the country.
But, “the radioactive elements, will inevitably affect practically the entire planet after some time”, as what toxicology experts detected.
