
Starring the role of Alfred the Butler in the famous series of the Original Batman films, Michael Gough p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed away at the age of 94.
For more than 150 films as well as television appearances, Gough was able to achieve his career in the field of entertainment industry for almost 65 years.
He died Thursday beside the presence of his own family in their home in England. His ex-wife, Anneke Wills was also present when he finally took his last breath because of his old age.
He was able to maintain his line of business with Tim Burton under the Sleepy Hollow and he also dub for the popular Corpse Bride likewise in the Alice in Wonderland.
He was also involved in the British science-fiction show entitled “Doctor Who”.
Posted in the Doctor Who’s website is the statement of his former spouse Wills saying, “As his body was deteriorating this week, he said that he wanted to hang on for St. Patrick’s Day. And he did.”
Gough’s birth place was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the actor was born in the year 1916.
Giving himself a big break on various TV series, his fans also recognized him for his appearance in “The Adventures of Robin Hood”, “The Saint” and “The Count of Monte Cristo”.
Known to be a hardworking actor, Gough was still able to work right up to his death while providing a voice to complete the latest animated DVD All-Star Superman.
The fans of Michael Gough remember him so well for his role being the Alfred Pennyworth starred opposite Michael Keaton, George Clooney and with Val Kilmer.
