Everything started out as a simple wish from Ellen De Generes, she was quoted as saying in her tweeter account that all she want was a lock of Justin Bieber’s hair. She got a reply from Justin Bieber and promised to deliver her gift personally.
The gift was delivered personally by Justin Bieber on Ellen as promised by the young sensational artist. On Wednesday, February 23, 2011 Justin Bieber fulfilled his promised by giving out his own hair and want Ellen to do something good for his priced hair. The box containing the hair was signed by Justin Bieber as an added bonus.
Ellen De Generes was the one described by Bieber as a friend whom he wanted to surprised. The hair will be auctioned by Ellen through his website and put it on ebay. After one hour of displaying it on ebay, Ellen tweeted that Justin Bieber’s hair now cost $10,000.
The beneficiary chosen personally by Ellen was the non-profit organization Gentle Barn Foundation. The main mission of the foundation was to rescue, rehabilitate and give sanctuary to abused animals. Through the interaction with our animals children learn reverence for all life.
Gentle Barn Foundation was founded in 1999 by Ellie R. Laks. It was now run by Ellie and Jay Weiner. The foundation was once feature on The Ellen Show.
