Tiger Woods Has Apologized for the Spitting Incident that Cost Him a Fine

Tiger Woods spat on the ground after missing a putt at the 12th in his final round on Sunday resulting him to fine ranging from £250 to £10,000 for breaching European Tour’s code of conduct.

Wood was caught on the camera spitting and heard swearing.

Stated in the Tour’s code of conduct that it is voluntarily to submit to the standards of behavior and ethical conduct anybody once a player becomes a member and obliged ordinary golfers and members of the public.

Mike Stewart the tournament director reviewed the spitting incident and found out that it breached the Tour’s code of conduct. As a result Tiger Wood will be fined.

Tiger Woods wrote a message in his Twitter account “I know better, and it was insensitive to spit like that, and I just want to say sorry”

“Dubai is always incredible host. Everyone was great all week, especially to all my fans. Just this week can have ended better,” tweeted Wood.

It was his worst finish in his closing round of 75 in Dubai in a regular European Tour. Woods now has gone more than 14-months no title.
