
After the protest regarding the death toll in anti-government, Australia speaks to encourage its citizens not to pursue their plans on traveling to Egypt. Furthermore, the security was being held tight to raise itself to the uppermost possible level.
As an advice, Australia is now deprived from going to Egypt for any reason as citizens are given full security measures.
The warning came to jump from “reconsider your need to travel” to “do not travel” alert. This recommendation will be able to stop every Australian regarding their plans of considering Egypt as a destination.
In this sense, Australian citizens would deprive themselves from the danger that is going on in the said country.
As foreign minister Kevin Rudd has stated, nearly 800 or more Australians were counted to be in Egypt at present. Yet, there were still no reports about their current situation. They haven’t heard whether they have been involved in violence wherein demonstrations have clashed with police. Thus, even bombs of petrol were thrown.
The foreign office rightfully seeks to warn its men as they come to announce their advice not to travel to Egypt because of its ongoing civil unrest.
They added, that for some reasons that citizens are still there, they have to immediately do an action of leaving the said place.
The Australian government spreads its concern to its people especially of Egypt’s current security situation.
A ban for travel has finally been listed by Australia as Egypt was included among the 12 countries that they have announced. Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, as well as hotspots of Africa, like Sudan, Niger, and Cote d’Ivoire were also included in the said list.
Since Tuesday, reports were shown that there had been at least 102 people who have died because of the ongoing protests in opposition of President Hosni Mubarak’s regime.
Based on Australia’s prediction, Egypt’s current situation stays unstable where there is a possibility of its quick deterioration. Such that, every travelers must avoid demonstrations because of the reported violent conditions that may unexpectedly rise.
Arson and looting widely spreads while streets and corners of their main towns are contained with armies on board. Even the foreign office themselves said that civil police can hardly sustain law and order around them.
A curfew between 4:00 pm to 8:00am has been urged for all travelers as they were convinced to obey the advices of the authorities in the local government.
It is the first time that Egypt’s military intelligence chief was appointed by Mubarak as his vice president. Just this Saturday, nearly ten thousand people gathered in Central Cairo in order for him to step down.
After the president has stood for about 30 years being a leader, there came many protests to plead for the departure of Mubarak together with the cries to stop the endemic corruption and eventually stop police brutality.
